Ladybird on a leaf

Spring is finally coming to us. Leaves are starting to grow and lots of small insect flying around. One of the little bug we can see around is a ladybird. Let’s make this ladybird on a leaf from coloured papers and bring spring into our home.

Materials:

Coloured papers

Ruler

Pencil

Glue

Scissors

Hole puncher (only if you have it)

Tutorial:

1,Take a green paper and cut out a leaf about the size of your palm.

2, Cut out a strip of a black paper. The size of the strip will depend on how big or small you want your ladybird to be. You will also need a red circle for the wings and six tiny black dots. I advise you to use a hole puncher for the dots if you have one.

3, Take the black strip and glue the ends together to make a little roll for the ladybird’s body.

4, Take your red circle and cut it in half, then glue black dots on it.

5, Glue the two wings on the black roll .

6,NOw give the ladybirds two white eyes. I used hole puncher for the eyes as well but you can just cut them out of you don’t have one.

7, Now glue the ladybird on top of the leaf and you are done.
