HOW TO MAKE SNOWFLAKES WITH SALT ART

Painting with salt is a great art project you could make with your little ones. They will see the magic of mixing salt, paint, and water.

Materials:

PVA glue

Salt

Watercolours

Brush

Water

Card paper (I used black)

Let’s start exploring:

1, Use PVA glue to draw snowflakes on the paper. Be careful not to use too much glue as the snowflakes could blend together, and also leave a gap between each snowflake.

2, When you are done drawing with the glue, sprinkle salt over the glue. Make sure that every part of the glue is covered.

3, Then shake off all the excess salt.

4, Set your drawing aside on a flat surface and let it dry up fully.

5, Dip your brush in water and some watercolour and dab it anywhere on the salt. Salt is very absorbent so make sure you use plenty of water. When you dab your brush on the salt, the paint should expand to the sides.
