HOW TO MAKE A SUNNY PAINTING CATCHING THE LAST SUN SHINES OF THE SUMMER

With the autumn arriving, the summer sun is leaving us for the next few months. Right now it’s the perfect time to make last summer’s crafts before we get ready for the autumn ones. End your summer crafts with this fun watercolour painting.

Materials:

Card paper

Crayon

Watercolours

Brush and water

Step-by-step tutorial:

1, Take a crayon and draw a large circle on the page. Apply a bit of pressure on the crayon, so you have nice thick lines.

2, Draw a leaf shapes around the circle to make the sun shines. Make some of these smaller and some of these bigger. You can fill them with shapes, lines…

3, Inside the big circle, draw a face.

4, Get your watercolour ready and you can start colouring in all the areas. The thick crayon lines will provide a barrier between the areas so the watercolours won’t blend.
