Can’t wait for the summer sunshine to hit? Why not make this happy sun with a rainbow? For this project you will get to work with paper, paints and cutting. It will make an excellent wall decoration in your home or your child’s room. Let’s bring some sunshine into our houses.
Materials:
Paper plate
Yellow paint
Coloured papers
Black marker
Glue, scissors and ruler
How to craft this:
1, Take a paper plate and cut it in half.
2, Paint the paper plate with yellow colour and let it dry.
3, While you waiting for the paint to dry, cut out some triangles from yellow or orange paper. This be used for the suns spikes.
4, Glue the spikes on the paper plate around the edge.
5, Take a black marker and draw a face on the paper plate.
6, Chose colours for your rainbow and cut out stripes. I used 5 colours that are 2.5 cm wide, but you can have as many colours as you want.
7, Glue the stripes to the bottom of the sun to create an rainbow.
