Let’s try this cool gold chicken easter craft that will entertain the small and the big.
Materials:
Coloured paper
Scissors
Glue
Ruler
Googly or paper eyes
Tutorial:
1, Pick 2 colours and cut 4 equal strips. 2 strips of each colour. Take 1 strip of each colour and start crossing them over each other to make a snake. Repeat the same for the other 2 strips.
2, Take some yellow card paper, cut a big rectangle and then glue the ends together to create a roll. Then glue down the two snakes we made in the previous step and glue them down as legs.
3, Glue down the eyes.
4, Cut out beak and hair and glue it on the chicken.
5, Cut out a pair of wings and glue them down on each side of the roll then cut out 2 triangular shapes for the feet and glue them down on the end of the two snakes we made.
6, Now we will make a tail. Take a thick stripe of a brown paper. Split the paper into roughly 1 cm lines. Then cut the lines bit, leaving about 2 cm at the end. We want the stipes to stay together.
7, Take a pen or scissors and curl up the ends of the stripes.
8, Glue the brown paper to the back of the chicken.
