Holidays are coming to an end, and everyone is preparing to return to school. This cool bookmark will make learning a fun experience. Get your art materials, come crafting with us and make something cool for the start of the school year.
Materials:
Coloured card paper
Ruler
Pencil
Scissors
Hole puncher
Coloured paper
Glue stick
Clear tape
Ribbon
Step-by step tutorial:
1, Measure and draw rectangle 8cm x 15cm. Cut it out.
2, Inside the rectangle draw a smaller rectangle by measuring 1,5cm on each side and then connecting the points.
3, Cut out the smaller rectangle. Be carefull not to cut the big rectangle.
4, Now you need to make the same rectangle 1 more time. This time, put your rectangle on the paper, trace around the outside and inside and cut it out.
5, Apply glue on the frame of the rectangle and carefully place down strips of tape with the sticky side up. Keep adding strips until the hole in the middle is covered. You may need to ask someone for help when putting down the tape.
6, Take a hole puncher and punch out lots of circles from coloured paper. When you have enough, carefully sprinkle them on the tape. You may have to pat them down lightly.
7, Cut a few more strips of tape and place them on top of the previous tape with the sticky side down. Press the tape down to make it stick well around the confetti.
8. Apply glue to the 2nd rectangle frame and stick it on the top, covering the sides of the bookmark.
9, Punch a hole on the short side of the bookmark and tie up some ribbon.
