Many crafts can be made from recycled materials that usually go to the waste. These crafts are give objects a second use and can make crafting more interesting. This craft is made out of recycled paper rolls and coloured paper. The flowers are a great craft for younger kids.
MATERIALS:
Toilet roll
Paint
Coloured paper
Pencil
Scissors
Brush and cup for water
STEP-BYSTEP TUTORIAL:
1, Take a paper roll and paint it in green colour. If you don’t want to use paint you can wrap it in green paper or use markers to colour it in. Then let the roll dry.
2, On a coloured paper draw a large flower and cut it out.
3, Pick a different paper and find an object that is in the space of a circle, such as a glue stick or a cup and trace it on the paper and then cut it out.
4, Stick the circle in the middle of the flower.
5, Take the paper roll and make 2 cuts on the top of the roll opposite each other. The cuts should be around 1 cm deep.
6, From a green paper cut out a pair of leaves, then take another green paper and cut out a smaller pair of leaves. Glue them on top of each other.
7, Glue the leaves on the front of the roll and then slide the flower inside the cuts.
