With blooming trees, we are seeing small animals returning to our gardens and parks. One of these animals is a butterfly and this is what we will craft in this project. This craft is suitable for younger children who loves to craft and experiment.

Materials:
Kitchen roll or tissue
Watercolours, brush and water
Markers
Wooden peg
Googly eyes
Pipe cleaner
Spray bottle if you have

Let’s craft this:
1, Take a tissue and place it on a table, board,… somewhere where you don’t mind as it will get wet and dirty.
2, Spray the tissue with water. You want the tissue to be very well wet but not soaking in water. If you don’t have a spray bottle use brush.
3, Now paint your tissue with watercolours. Your paints should be spreading, if they look dry spray the tissue with more water.
4, Let the tissue dry. This may take a while depending on how much water you used.
5, Once your tissue is dry fold it back and forward to make a harmonica pattern.
6, Take a peg and paint it with your markers to make it look like a butterfly’s body.
7, Squeeze the middle of the tissue, add pipe cleaner and clip on your peg.
8, Lastly spread the tissue to make wings, curl up the pipe cleaner to make antenas and glue on the eyes.
