Do you want something to make for your dad, but aren’t sure what to do? Then you must try this cool bookmark. Your dad will be able to bring it with him everywhere and it will stay safe inside a book. This craft will suit older kids as they will be able to make it on their own.
Materials:
Coloured paper
Ruler
Scissors
Glue
Pencil / Marker
Step by step tutorial:
1, Pick a coloured paper for the base of your bookmark and cut 5 cm wide strip of paper.
2, Now we will cut out a few items for our bookmark. We will need two long triangles to make a coat, a circle for the head, a hair piece that we glue around the head and a small triangle where we write “superhero”.
3, Take the small triangle and glue it roughly in the middle of the bookmark, then take the two long triangles and glue them on the sides of the bookmark.
4, Now take your hair and head and glue them together. If you want you can add a small strip of paper to create a mask and then draw face features.
5, Glue the head on top of the bookmark. If you want you can use a pencil to draw pants on the bookmark or other features.
Your bookmark is now ready to fly through some pages and stories of your dad’s favourite books.
