Brighten up your wall with our colourful kite craft for kids. Using materials like popsicles, string and paints, your little ones will create beautiful crafts that bring adventure and joy indoors.

Materials:
7 large popsicle sticks
2 buttons
Paints
Brush and water
PVA or hot glue
A bit of coloured paper for mouth
Ribbon or crape paper
String
Yarn
Scissors

Step by step tutorial:
1, Paint 6 of your popsicles with different colours, then paint the two wooden buttons that will be our eyes.
2, Turn your popsicles upside down and arrange them in a diamond shape. Use the last popsicle to hold all the popsicles together by glueing it down across all the popsicles. If you have a glue gun, use it otherwise, use PVA glue.
3, Turn your craft to the front side and glue down eyes and a mouth from paper.
4, Let’s make the yarn bows. Wrap a yarn around 2 or 3 fingers, pull it off keeping the shape, tie it up in the middle with a bit of yarn and then cut up the ends that are joined together.
5, Glue them down on the 3 top corners of the kite.
6, If you like, you can add a bow tied up from crepe paper or ribbon.
7, Now we need to create the kite’s tail. Repeat step 4 until you have about 4-5 bows. Then tie them up on a string and glue the end of the string to the back of the kite. Your kite can have more than 1 tail.
