Spring is here and with it, new fun crafts to do. Let’s start with making a sun blooming with flowers. It is a great craft for younger kids as they get to cut, draw and paint.

MATERIALS:
Paper
Yellow paint
Brush and cup for water
Paint sticks or crayons
Coloured paper
Glue
Scissors
Pencil
Markers/pencil/paint to draw the face

STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
1, Find a circular object and draw the outline on the paper or just draw it with your hand.
2, Paint the circle with yellow paint and also paint the whole 2nd paper in yellow paint. Let the paint dry.
3, Cut out the circle and cut up the yellow painted page into long triangles. The triangles are the sun’s rays.
4, Pick some coloured paper and draw various flowers on it and then cut them out.
5, Glow the flowers in the end of the triangles. You can decide to glue flowers to all triangles or leave some empty.
6, Glue all the sunrays to the sun.
7, At the end, you can use markers, paint or pencils to draw a face on the sun.
