HOW TO MAKE A RAINBOW DRAWING WITH SHAMROCKS

A few days until St. Patrick’s Day, it is time to make a few rainbows and display them on our windows or walls. This craft is fun to make and has everything needed for St. Patrick’s Day: a rainbow, the colour green and shamrocks.

Materials:

Card paper

Markers

Scissors

Glue

Green yarn

Step-by-step instructions:

1, Take a piece of card paper and a black marker. Draw one medium cloud on the left side of the paper and one medium cloud on the right side of the paper.

2, Continue by drawing half-circles going from one cloud to another, making the line of the rainbow. Colour the rainbow and then cut it out.

3, Draw a shamrock, colour it in and cut it out.

4, Use the shamrock to make 5 more shamrocks by placing the shamrock on the paper and tracing it 5 more times, then colour them in and cut them out.

5, Cut 2 strings and glue them on the back of the rainbow.

6, Put glue on the back of a shamrock and stick it under the string, so the string is going though the glued part, then take another shamrock and stick it on the top. If your shamrocks don’t fully align, you can slightly trim them and colour the white bits with a marker.

7, Do the same with the rest of the shamrocks. Trim the strings if they are too long.
