Give your Christmas tree a personal touch with an angel. This craft made out of paper, bead and string will be loved by the kids.
Materials:
Paper or old book page/newspaper
Glue
String
Large wooden bead
Scissors
Paint or glue with glitter if you want to decorate your angel
Step-by-step tutorial:
1, Take a sheet of paper and fold it like a harmonica by folding a little bit of paper over (about 2 cm) and then flip it upside down and fold it over. Keep repeating this until all the paper is folded into one strip. Start folding on the long side of the paper.
2, Cut the folded harmonica in half and then bend each piece in half.
3, Cut some string and tie up a knot, creating a loop to later hang your angel.
4, Put on a wooden bead and make another knot to keep it in place. If your string is thin, you may need to make multiple knots to keep it in place.
5, Put some glue on the long sides of the two harmonicas, then place the strings in between the harmonicas and press them together. You can also put glue on the short sides of the harmonica and press them together to the long side to create sleeves.
6, If you want to decorate your angel, you can use some paint or glue and glitter.
